Package: kword
Version: 1:1.3.5-3
Severity: normal
When I save a KWord file containing accented charecters (for example, "á" á a-tilde, "ñ" ñ
n-tilde, and "ü" ü u-umlaut) as a WordPerfect document and then open it again, all the accented
characters are replaced with a period ".". Furthermore, the file causes WordPerfect 9 to crash.
I can open a similar file created by WordPerfect and see the accented characters correctly.
'wpd2text' compiled against libwpd-0.7.1 dumps text correctly from the WordPerfect file but
complains "ERROR: Unknown Error!" when given the file that KWord created.
