With mpg123, I use the default plugin. And now, with the 2.6.18-3-powerpc
kernel, I have the same problem with VLC and any output module.
No problem with the same file played on my Power Mac under Mac OS X.

No problem with 44.1kHz files. I have no 48 kHz files.
