I just noticed that kuickshow no longer automatically rotates the images I
take with my digicam. It used to get the orientation from the EXIF info and
rotate the image accordingly.
I THINK this is since my upgrade to 3.3.0.

your bugreport has been unreproducible for a long time and meanwhile we
did not get any further informations, hints or reports regarding this
bug. So chances are high this bug has been fixed silently and I'm
