Bug#380410: qt3-dev-tools: Please provide rpath support
Package: qt3-dev-tools
Version: 3:3.3.6-3
Severity: normal
Hi,
not sure wether this is intentional or not, but QMAKE_RPATH is set to
"".
This makes it hard for people to try out QScintilla+PyQt snapshots (and
maybe other things), as those cannot automatically use the rpath
linkage. PyQt3 then is loaded with /usr/lib/libqscintilla instead of the
snapshot installed somewhere else, unless someone pokes around with
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Using rpath is much more convenient than this.
