Please tell a bit more about how you ended there. Is it a brand new install?
Is it a something you have regularily upgraded?

What does ls -la /etc/xdg/menus say?

Man, how can I boot the memory to a tool of a memory address from the folder

From the control tools menu inside MkLinuxPPC you should mount a bus to debug 
the 2X DVD head.
