I have what may be a stupid question about your bug report at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=256887 After choosing vt100 for your Keyboard setting (I assume this is the setting you were talking about), did you select "Save as Default" in the settings menu to save this setting for starting konsole in the future?
