Bug#373720: Neither reloading KDE nor rebooting the machine does help
Hello,
neither reloading KDE nor rebooting the machine does help. kdeprint can't
connect to the CUPS server.
Thus I seem to have a working CUPS and a non working KDE print subsystem
at the moment.
Its probably a good idea to raise the severity of this bug when others can
confirm this behavior.
My current perception is that the last updates to the printing stuff broke
printing for novice users rather completely.
Please tell me when you need anything else. If need be I can try digging
deeper into this probably by using tethereal or what.
