Hi,

Umbrello crashes when you try to save unless you run "kbuildsycoca".
Something about a missing mime type for application/octet-stream.

So,

  a) the program shouldn't crash in this situation!

  b) kbuildsycoca needs to be run at the appropriate time - perhaps a
     bug in kdelibs-bin
