Package: KDE
Version: Kernel 2.4.26-1-386 , KDE 3.02

I noticed that soundserver in my KDE crashes often. When I have opened xmms and I listen nothing after some time my soundserver crashs and I hear terrible noise in speakers. I cannot even close KDE - it hangs when I try to close it.

I think that it could be bug in OSS module in kernel. My soundcard is Forte Media 801.
I'm using Linux Sarge.
