Bug#365710: kdm: no login into kde possible

I have a very similar, probably related problem:

When I enter my username and password into KDM, the screen flicks and
KDM is presented again (looks like KDM just restarded). I cannot even
login into metacity or failsave. So my system is quite useless for now.

My last update was this morning, and the only error I could find was in
/var/log/kdm.log:

FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc" refcount is 2, should be
1; fixing.
error opening security policy file /etc/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
> Warning: Type "ONE_LEVEL" has 1 levels, but <RALT> has 2 symbols
> Ignoring extra symbols
Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server

Since I upgrade this system on a daily basis, I guess one of the
packages updated yesterday is to blame.

Best regards,

Bastian
