Bug#363000: kmail: KMail should allow to specify a default SMTP server for each mail account

If I understand what you are asking for, the answer is that it does:

1) Open the Configure KMail dialog.
2) Under "Accounts" setup a Sending account for the sender.
3) Under "Identities" modify or add the sender.
4) Choose the "Advanced" tab, and select "Special transport" and choose the 
Sending account you setup in step 2.
