Exactly the same here.
I even checked, that /etc/mime.types has some of the
problematic mimetypes listed (it has at least a few) and
moved my personal .mime.types out of the way.
"kbuildsycoca --noincremental" is the tool to reliably
reproduce the issue on the console.
