Bug#345562: kde: Login to KDE Sessions kills Sound
Package: kde
Version: 5:45
Severity: normal
After booting it is possible to play a .wav file in the CTRL-ALT-F1
console (play sound.wav). After creating the KDE session (login on
Console 7) all sounds are dead.
play sound.wav in console 1 will no longer be hearable. All sound
programs (kaffeine etc) will not produce any output. Playing around with
the mixer does not help anything. No errors are reported.
It is only possible to reanimate the sound system by running
/etc/init.d/alsa reload-force.
After this sound will work again until next kde logoff/logon.
Thank you for any help.
regards
Peter
