Actually, I found that, somehow, a filter named, "True" had been activated. How the filter was created, I don't know since I didn't create it. I'm the only one who uses this machine, so I'm a bit puzzled as to where the filter came from. Once I deleted the filter and save the the KPrinter options, all KDE apps print correctly.
