Bug#228037: noatun: stutter related to Firefox?

I'm experiencing similar stutter problems as in bug #228037. However, no
need to reboot for it to go away -- I noticed that the stutter sound
changes and then goes away when I close certain tabs of Firefox which
happen to be open at the same time.
I find this worrying since it looks like an indication of
cross-application disturbance which should not happen... und might be
related to bad memory addressing, for instance.
Not easily reproducible since it happens so rarely.
Other bug encircling info bit: The sound (including the stutter) can be muted with kmix's
master slider, but it comes back when increasing the volume.
