Hi,

Sorry for the slow response - I've been away from the computer for a little
while. In the KDE Control Centre, I can set the user's face (in Security
and Privacy --> Password and User Account), but first you have to tell KDM
to allow users to set their own faces (by default only administrators can
do this). You can allow this by going to the KDE Control Centre, under
System Administration --> Login Manager. Switch to Administrator Mode, then
go to Users tab. There, in the "User Image Source" tab, select "User" (or
"User, admin", I suppose). Then KDM should allow the user to set their own
face.

Cheers,
Christopher Martin
