I also found that even closing said expanded directory listing inkonqueror takes a VERY long time (about 30 minutes during which allkonqueror instances are unusable). This seems totally unnecessary.

The CPU-usage is at 99-100 % while this happens (with opening thedirectory as well as with closing it).
