Bug#311514: This bug is not grave

Hi Martin,

I created new account and hotmail account too. I configured kopete. The same type of crash occured. :-(

Meanwhile I disconnected my notebook from my corporate network, and connected to the internet directly (trough my mobile GPRS account). In this case kopete works perfectly.

I'm going to use gaim. I have no other choice.

Fortunately most of my freinds use other IM protocols (jabber/ICQ), only few prefer MSN.

Best Regards,
Krisztian

Hi,

I don't think that this will be fixed in sarge since this looks like an
upstream problem.
Have a look at the kde [1] bug tracking system. You may find your bug
here. Maybe there is a workaround or some comments of the developer. If
not, submit your bug there.

But it is also possible that there is just a bug in your configuration.
Create a new user on your system, start kde and create your msn account
in kopete...this may work (reseting configuration to default worked for
me a few times).
