This is a result of a bug in g++ (#336114) that also causes bug #336009.  
Turning off previews in the Open File dialog should work around this problem.  
Recompiling kdelibs with the current g++ would also work around the problem, 
but the debian-qt-kde packaging team is waiting to see what the release 
managers want to do about the g++ bug before proceeding.
