I suspect that it might be (ServerArgsLocal has been separated from ServerArgsRemote, so "-nolisten tcp" should not cause problems any more). Please make sure that you upgraded your kdmrc to the KDE 3.4 level, and no longer have or use /etc/kde3/kdm/Xservers. Thanks, Christopher Martin
