In my normal console (urxvt), I use middle-click to paste, and it works for everything (except the subject of this bug). Similarly, 'xclip' is a program that performs direct access to the X clipboard, and in most situations, I can do 'xclip -o' to see the contents of the X clipboard. But in this case, 'xclip -o' returns nothing. Is there some sort of special KDE paste buffer?
