Bug#301127: kaboodle dies with "sigsev" or so when trying to play an mpeg

Can you run it under GDB and see if the backtrace is usable?

  $ gdb kaboodle
  > run
  > bt

Can someone test this on a 64 bit architecture other than amd64?  This
is sarge-ignore if the other 64 bit archs work.
