Hi Michal,

I'm pretty sure sftp:// uses the ssh-agent when available, the same as
fish:// does. I can successfully browse through different hosts
without a password being asked at all.

If it works correctly when you invoke it from the command line, it's
most likely that you have an environment problem. That is, if you run
Alt-F2 (run command), and from there, "printenv >/tmp/kde.env", you
should then see something like:
$ grep -i ssh /tmp/kde.env
SSH_AGENT_PID=7009
SSH_AUTH_SOCK=/tmp/ssh-xpDyZV7007/agent.7007
Do you see it? If not, you will have to make sure that ssh-agent is
made available to KDE, e.g. via /etc/X11/Xsession.d or ~/.kde/env.
