Bug#275520: kpilot: Cause found
Package: kpilot
Version: 4:3.3.1-3
Followup-For: Bug #275520
Hi kpilot maintainer
I seam to have found the cause...
Apparently korganizer and kpilot sync to the standard calendar file.
But korganized does this only periodicaly. (can be configured somewhere, default 10 minutes...)
So what happened to me was:
Adding some entries to korgnizes (they were not synced yet to the file).
Hitting 'Hotsync' on my palm to get them synced. (kpilot synces the file which does not yet
contain the changes from korganizer).
korganizer notices the file has changed and discards all changes that were entered.
The way to does work:
Adding entries to korganizer...
Manualy saving (CTRL-S) thos entries to the file (or waiting for an autosave to happen) and
_THEN_ syncing with the palm.
I suggest that korganizer should save each change immediately to it's file, or 'merge' them if
the file has changed in the meantime.
