I know we are all busy, and it would be nice if the submitter had done this for you, but bug triage is ultimately the maintainer's job. There is no point yelling at a user because they didn't do your job for you. I realize you are a volunteer, as am I, and I can't force you to do anything. But, if you are in the position of maintaining a package, these things are part of that position. Either do it or don't, but don't blame a user for it not getting done.
