Version: 4:3.1.2-2
Severity: minor
Tags: upstream patch

Kate syntax highlighting currently messes up if an escaped double quote (\")
appears inside a string, erroneously terminating the string and
mis-highlighting subsequent input. A good solution is to use the same
highlighting used in the C-family language highlightings for escape sequences.
The patch below can be applied to /usr/share/apps/katepart/syntax/sml.xml
to add this functionality.

This bug has been fixed as far as I can tell in KDE 3.2, although it was
fixed in a slightly different manner than the original patch.

Thanks,
Chris
