Bug#234101: kde: [armv4l] Characters dropping out when using Xnest server

Package: kde
Version: 3.1.2
Severity: important

When DISPLAY is set to an Xnest X server and antialiasing is enabled
(antialiasing must be set or else squares will appear between characters),
if I run a KDE app, either random characters drop out or other random
characters inserted between the expected ones.

For the latter case, for example, running kcontrol gives

	KeDkE Con

	Configure your des

Welc t th "K Cont Cent a cent pla t
confi yo desk enviro Sel a it fr
th ind o th le t lo a configu modu

	KDE ve 3.1
	Use ac
	Hostn tu
	Syst Lin
	Rele 2.4

If I resize the window so that it is wider, the first line becomes
"KDE Contr" instead of "KeDkE Con", but the rest show no real
improvement.

This problem seems to only affect KDE; GNOME and GTK apps (GTK1 and 2)
do not seem to be affected.

This is debian testing, not unstable.
