Having just dist-upgraded I find that none of the KDE apps run because
of undefined symbols in one or more libraries:

The conflict was caused by a build of libqt-mt.so.3.3.1 which was
installed by some "in development" software.

This bug can now be closed, sorry for the inconvenience.
