This shows up only for the "Only when moving windows" desktop switching
mode. If you enable it desktop switching while dragging windows works
intermittently -
- nearly always going up,
- sometimes going left to right
- hardly ever going right to left and going down
Enabling the full switching option works so most likely the cause of the
problem is that the desktop switching code does not recognise windows as
being moved.

It seems this has already been fixed, or at least I can't reproduce.
If this is still a problem for you, write back providing some info and
we'll reopen the bug.
