When I access the internet backing site for HSBC Australia, the logon
process does something that triggers kwallet to open my wallet.
To reproduce this, you have to have konqueror identifying as something
that the bank will accept. I havemy browser identification as Internet
Explorer, Version 6, for this website. (Yes I have written to them
asking them to accept konqueror or mozilla or anything that isn't IE -
they seem disinclined to do so at present.)
1) Go to:
http://www.hsbc.com.au/
2) Click on Internet Banking
3) Enter a 10 digit number for the Personal Banking Number and a 6
digit number for the pin.
4) Click on Logon.
I get a dialog for opening a kwallet at that point, with the following
message:
"KDE Wallet Service - KDE Daemon
The application 'konqueror' has requested to open the wallet 'MyWallet'.
Please enter the password for this wallet below."
Now, I think this may well be the bank's fault. It's been happening for
months at least. But seeing as it hasn't gone away, it seems sufficiently wierd
to me that I thought it should be reported as a bug.

Actually, it is doing that for other sites.
It seems that since I mostly don't use konqueror for browsing, I have nev=
er=20
noticed that (nice, as long as it's expected) feature of kwallet before.
Now I'm embarassed! Very sorry for wasting your time! :(
