When KNewsTicker is added to panel and there is not enough space on the screen, the KNewsTicker applet is added on
the most righthand side. Everything is fine except it uses only the space that is visible on the screen. When I scroll the panel so that whole KNewsTicker window should be visible it appears that only the previously visible part of the panel is used - the rest is gray (the rest i.e. part of the panel that was hidden but was scrolled back to the screen). Moving KNewsTicker around the panel helps (e.g. exchanging its position with clock) - it uses correctly all of the space for display then.

this shouldn't be an issue in kdenetwork 3.3
