Package: kdelibs4
Version: 4:3.2.2-1
Severity: minor
File: kdecore

Trying to running any KDE 3.1 or 3.2 binary causes these messages to flood
the screen (or the .xsession-errors file, depending on how they're started):

    KThemeStyle cache seems corrupt!

    kdecore (KIconLoader): WARNING: Icon directory /usr/share/icons/slick/ group not valid.

    QMetaObject::findSignal:KViewViewer: Conflict with KImageViewer::Viewer::imageOpened(const KURL&)
    QMetaObject::findSignal:KViewViewer: Conflict with KImageViewer::Viewer::imageOpened(const KURL&)

The second gets repeated over and over. The third and fourth lines only
occur sometimes.

So... what is the "KThemeStyle cache" and how do I clear it out? What do I
do about this icon directory?  Searching the debian-* lists finds nothing;
Google gives me pages in foreign languages by people who seem to be asking
the same question.
