Bug#268821: acknowledged by developer (Re: Bug#268821: kdelibs: kde 3.3.0 does not compile!)
btw i found out what the problem is: CXX="ccache g++".
that means that there is a problem with the KDE build process
such that a multi-argument CXX argument could cause problems.
for example defining CXX="g++ -g" could produce unexpected results.
or defining CXX for cross-compilation...
