Package: kghostview
Version: 4:3.1.5-1
Severity: important

Hello,

It seems that kghostview has a problem opening direct links to pdf
files that are not accessed via the browser.
For example, if I am sent a link such as http://example.com/file.pdf through psi, or even in an email received in kmail, clicking on the link will open
kghostview, open the "Loading progress" dialogue, and sit there at 0%
indefinitely. However, cancelling the loading dialogue, and then
opening the location through file->open recent causes the file to be
opened immediately. Obviously this is a bit of a pain, and will
definitely cause trouble for those who are not aware of the
  workaround. Thanks,

  Todd

The problem I have with making an intelligent statement is that some
people then think that it's not an isolated occurrance.
