Bug#267105: kicker: Clock applet doesn't show date when asked

I don't actually have a wheel :-)

I wanted the applet to show the date below the time, which is what I
thought it could do. Instead, it
shows "New York", which is my time zone. Which I rarely care about when
I'm not traveling.

This is when my mouse is nowhere near the applet.

BTW, this is the builtin clock applet we're talking about, right? This is
my first time with KDE.

Jerry

  hi,

the clock applet can display times for different timezones. put the
mouse over the applet and move the wheel of your mouse.

if this behavior annoys you, i.e., you don't want the wheel to have
any effect in the clock applet, configure the Timezones tab to have
    no zone selected.

if I misunderstood your problem, please write back with more
    information.

  thanks,
