Bug#257136: please support transparency

Package: knewsticker
Version: 4:3.2.2-1
Severity: wishlist

In kde 3.2, one can set the panel to transparent, which is very nice
eye candy. However, knewsticker always uses the solid background
configured in the preferences setting.

Please consider offering an option that will take the panel's
background for knewsticker's part of the panel as well, honoring
transparency settings.

Greetings
Marc
