Bug#251191: kpackage: Installing processes killed when switching VD
Package: kpackage
Version: 4:3.2.2-1
Severity: important
Tags: sid
I use Kpackage to maintain my Debian installation. When installing or
upgrading I cannot switch to another virtual desktop, because dpkg
then would be killed. Result codes are 100 or 130.
For example:
....
Unpacking replacement libmpeg3-dev ...
Preparing to replace libmpeg3-1 1.5.4-2 (using
..../libmpeg3-1_1.5.4-4_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement libmpeg3-1 ...
Preparing to replace postgresql-dev 7.4.2-3 (using
..../postgresql-dev_7.4.2-4_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement postgresql-dev ...
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg exited unexpectedly
RESULT=100
