The version number on the metapackage "kde" is 3.1.5.

The long description, however, includes in its list of modules on which
kde depends a module --- kdepim --- which was introduced only when KDE
3.2.0 was released. It would therefore appear that the metapackage has
had to be modified and the version number should have been incremented.

It is most _confusing_ to a user if the metapackage version number and the
release which the metapackage "pulls in" are different.

It is not... The version number for the kde metapackage is 3.1.2.

The metapackage kdepim has existed since the KDE 3.0.0 debs.

I plan to bump the version number once meta-kde depends on something
specific to kde 3.2 currently it does not depend on anything specific
to kde 3.2 and in fact it hasn't even been uploaded since KDE 3.2 has
been released.
