Unfortunately this is the kind of bug one cannot clearly identify. I had
installed the unstable version of debian in November 2003 but switched
to
testing in December 2003. So my system is a mix of the current testing
version with possibly some unstable packages left.

Unpredictably, KDE hangs completely blocking any keyboard or mouse input
so that
I have to press RESET on my box. I could observe that it especially
hangs when
using KDE applications; when using mozilla or openoffice, all is fine.
The problem mostly occurs when resizing columns, for example in kmail or
the playlist of noatun and other KDE applications.

Sorry to be so unspecific but I could not identify the true reason or
package. But it is pretty ennoying to use RESET twice a day ...

Downgrading dists is not supported, I can not reproduce the problem here
strictly in sid and have not heard of any other reports of this problem
so I am closing this bug.

Thanks,
Chris
