The xplanet command line (in the "configure background program" dialog)
needs the option "-num_times 1" when used with xplanet 1.0.

Otherwise it'll fork off a new xplanet program in the background, every
ten minutes. Ultimately the resulting out-of-memory condition will crash
the X server.

Just for the record ;-) mine looks like this:

xplanet -num_times 1 -latitude 41 -longitude 11  -projection \
	orthographic -body Earth -north orbit --geometry %xx%y --output \
	%f.jpg && mv %f.jpg %f

Closing 29 bugs that have been fixed upstream in KDE 3.2, which was
just uploaded to unstable.
