Yep, this is exactly openqa lightweight alternative, trying to do things with a bit different angle 

Here are some example how Sparky is used to test Linux distros :

- alpine -

QA People in RL use Sparky to test distribution releases, I wish I could share their forgejo site with more examples but it’s down now

More QA tools help, especially if someone is watching the output of the
tools :-)

Please provide more details about your tool.

Have you looked at https://openqa.debian.net? Do the tests there match
what you are intending to automate?
