Debian is willing to participate as a mentoring organization in the

December 2025 Outreachy Cohort, but for that we need your project

proposals!

Outreachy is a program that provides internships to people subject to

systemic bias and underrepresented in the technical industry where

they live [1].

The deadline to submit project ideas is September 25, so we can

still select projects and meet the program's deadline of September

26 at 4 pm UTC.

Time is pressing, so don't wait!

Add your project ideas to the wiki page [2], and find useful

information here [3]. We require that proposed projects have at

least one mentor who is a Debian Developer. A reminder: project

proposals should be directly related to the Debian Project.

outreach@debian.org or reach out to us on the#debian-outreach
