Bug#667593: exists elsewhere Re: debcheck: check for obsolete transitional packages

debcheck processes a single release per run, so in its current form can't check this, or anything that requires comparing multiple releases. (The oldlibs check looks for explicit Section: oldlibs labels.)

There is a separate tool on jenkins that does check this:
https://salsa.debian.org/qa/jenkins.debian.net/-/blob/master/bin/find_obsolete_transitional_packages.sh

It doesn't output to DDPO/tracker, but does allow semi-automated bug filing, which is being done:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?users=qa.debian.org@packages.debian.org;tag=transitional

Hence, I suggest closing this bug.
