Hi!

I have tried to setup a local instance to contribute some patches but
the initial import of the database needs more than 14GB of RAM. This
makes contributing quite complicated. Trying to limit to unstable
doesn't help either. Maybe a fixture with only a thousand packages or
a limit of 1000 packages per source would help.

Hi,

now that we provide a sample database, this bug is only about
optimizing the update repositories task. Since this is a refactoring
and not at all specific to tracker.debian.org, I'm closing this
bug in favor of https://salsa.debian.org/qa/distro-tracker/issues/21

Cheers,
