This still means tools need to make an effort, and they'll only be for
Haskell packages, so unless the Haskell team want to put that effort in for
all the tools, it's not something I would be interested in doing.

I'm still not seeing any real reason that the Haskell packages can't follow
the way the rest of Debian does Git.
