Bug#685605: qa.debian.org: Would be great if the PTS could provide RDF descriptions of packages

Package: tracker.debian.org
Followup-For: Bug #685605

Hi,

Just an update on progress on this.

The service at rdf.debian.net has been running stably for a while now.
I've now ported all the scripts to Python 3 so there is no longer a
Python 2 issue. I have just today added in some links to the HTML
templates to get from there to the RDF/XML, Turtle and N3
serialisations.

I also have some progress on linking to upstreams, with the beginnings
of a script to generate triples for packages with CPAN upstreams.

I'd like to move the script that generates triples from UDD to using
D2RQ instead (although this is not yet packaged in Debian). The script
that pulls data from Perl should really be putting the data into UDD
first too.

For when this service is ready for deployment, I propose using
Frozen-Flask to generate a static site and pushing this to
static.debian.org. This will require setting up content negotiation on
the static mirrors but as this is already done for language negotiation
this should be a large problem for DSA.

Thanks,
Iain.
