 Right. The motivations for the current implementation were:
 - no need for user authentication
 - no need for storing data server-side
 - only the users [browsers] know which entries are hidden

 I agree that adding a way to work collaboratively on the TO-DO list
 would be great. However, I'm unsure about the desired design.
 
 One way to do it would be to have a web service providing a simple
 key-value store, and then everything could still be implemented
 client-side in JS.

 Another way to do it is fully server-side, without JS. But doing so
 in a way that isn't crazy from a security POV is a quite significant
 project.

Ideas?
