Bug#760801: jenkins.d.n: moving chroots to logical volumes

Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: wishlist
User: qa.debian.org@packages.debian.org
Usertags: jenkins

Dear Maintainer,

proposing patches to make chroot jobs work on throw-away logical
volumes with faster filesystems.

 * 'chroot-on-lvm' branch at https://github.com/gg0/jenkins.d.n

 fd8e908 kill/umount/lvremove on cleanup.
 d073c2a Need sudo to write on logical volume.
 48196ae Aborting jobs while sudo commands run doesn't trap TERM.
 9921fc3 Migrate chroots to logical volumes. Make common vars global.
 cf84731 Use proxy from common-functions.sh.

- LV size is 10GB, not sure about how many LVs vdb could host
  concurrently.
- ext4 mount options have been suggested by helmut on irc, commit
  interval set to 300 secs seems good.

Thanks for considering.
