I'm seeing the same issue on my Linux powerbot 3.2.0-4-powerpc #1 Debian 3.2.57-3 ppc GNU/Linux. The bug is fully reproducable, each time I run # apt-get -f install Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Correcting dependencies... Done The following extra packages will be installed: libpam-modules The following packages will be upgraded: libpam-modules 1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 801 not upgraded. 28 not fully installed or removed. Need to get 0 B/292 kB of archives. After this operation, 30.7 kB of additional disk space will be used. Do you want to continue? [Y/n] y Preconfiguring packages ... the 'dpkg' process hangs with near 100% CPU utilization forever (> 90 minutes). This is a pure test/development system, if somebody from dpkg wants root on it, send me an SSH key via PM.
