I tried to only remove the blank line as you suggested but liferea was
still not happy with it. Then I looked at other[1] feeds and noticed
they do not present a Content-type header. Getting rid of it seems to
make most feed clients happy.

My bad, I closed the bug before my changes were active; it is now done,
